Royal Canin Renal kibble - Supports and enhances kidney function in cats!

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a common problem in adult and older cats. When creatinine levels in the blood are high, the cat's kidneys begin to decline in function. Royal Canin Renal kibble is formulated to support kidney function, help manage the disease, and improve the quality of life for cats from the inside out.

WARNING

- This is a dietary supplement and not a substitute for medication. Consult your veterinarian before use.

- Start giving your cat Royal Canin Renal as soon as its creatinine levels exceed the reference threshold (late CKD 2 stage), before the disease progresses to a more serious stage. If your cat stops eating, you can switch to Royal Canin Renal immediately without following the 7-day food change rule.

In most cases, cats can use Royal Canin Renal for life to maintain kidney health.

*Monitor kidney health by testing blood mineral levels (Renal panel), especially in the following cases:

- Hypercalcemia or mineral imbalance.

- Hypokalemia, which affects muscle and cardiovascular function.

How to determine the stage of feline kidney disease (CKD):

- Get a blood test to check for creatinine or SDMA (Symmetric Dimethylarginine).

- Compare the results with the IRIS (The International Renal Interest Society) CKD staging system to assess the disease status.

🐱 FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS

Specific dietary needs depend on age, activity level, and health conditions. Consult your veterinarian for an appropriate diet.

- Divide meals into smaller portions (2-3 times/day) to reduce the burden on the kidneys.

- Gradually change the food over 7 days, except in cases where the cat refuses to eat due to kidney disease, in which case the change can be made immediately.

🐱 HOW TO STORE

- Seal the bag tightly after use to preserve food quality.

- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
