⛔ RECOMMENDATION
- This is a food supplement, not a substitute for medicine. Consult your veterinarian before use.
- Start the Royal Canin Renal diet as soon as the creatinine* index exceeds the reference threshold (end stage CKD 2), helping to control the disease before it progresses to severe chronic kidney failure.
- In case the dog stops eating, it can be switched immediately to Royal Canin Renal without having to follow the 7-day food change process.
- Royal Canin Renal can be maintained for life, helping to support stable kidney function long term.
*Creatinine: This is an accurate indicator of kidney function, because creatinine is only excreted through the kidneys. When creatinine levels are high, it is a sign that the kidneys are losing their ability to filter waste.
*How to determine the stage of CKD in dogs: Take your dog to a veterinary facility for blood tests, creatinine or SDMA (Symmetric Dimethylarginine) tests. Compare with the Chronic Kidney Disease Staging Table (IRIS) to assess the level of kidney damage and choose the appropriate diet.
